Steven J. Stewart was born in Marietta, Ohio but spent the majority of his childhood in West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University for both his undergraduate degree and dental school. Following dental school, Dr. Stewart did a general practice residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. He became a advanced life support instructor during his residency. Dr. Stewart practiced in West Virginia for seven years before becoming a contract dentist for the United States Army.
When the opportunity arose to return to Ohio, Dr. Stewart with his wife, Deanna, and their two children moved to Powell in 2001. With his practice located in Pataskala, an opportunity arose to practice with Dr. Timothy Moats in Worthington.
